Programs
Food Pantry- We accept all non perishable food items and we utilize these items to go along with the fresh meats and vegetables that we provide to each family that we assist through our weekly feed a family program! To sign up to receive food we ask each person to go to our donations and applications tab and submit their information!
Clothing Pantry - We have used and new clothing that we provide absolutely free to any one that is in need of clothing. Clothing donations are always accepted. We ask for all items to be washed and inspected for stains and spots before donating the items. This process will allow our staff and volunteers to sort the clothes quicker. To sign up for clothing we ask each person to go to our donations and applications tab and submit their information!
M.O.M (Mentor of a Mom)- We have several mothers and grandparents that team up with the single parents that come to our events. With this program it allows the single parent(s) to be able to have an extra parent to keep track of their child's progress in school, community activities and also helping them to learn how to become more equipped with everyday duties such as cooking, cleaning, proper etiquette, good hygiene and more. We partner with various community churches, mentoring programs and mental health providers that give the children additional things to work on as they grow in life.
We also have a M.O.M housing program for families and individuals that qualify for temporary housing assistance through our 90-day on site housing program. To qualify for our program an individual or family has to be going through domestic violence, post release from jail/prison without any of the following on their background( murder, rape or pedophilia) charges, emergency housing needs referred through another agency (DSS, Police/Sherriff Department, School(s), Probation/Parole).
Thanksgiving Feed a Family- We gather food to provide to various families in the communities that we service. The food that we select is focused on a basic Thanksgiving meal. Food items will include 1 main meat either a Turkey(families of 3 or more people), small Hen(families of 1-2 people), Whole Ham(families 3 or more people) or small sliced Ham(small family of 1-2 people), 3 sides, 2 dessert items, 1 bread and beverages to cover up to a 7 person family setting. To sign up to receive food we ask each person to go to our donations and applications tab and submit their information! We also invite other community business owners/operators, schools, churches, organizations and community members to join in and adopt a family to ensure everyone in need can receive a quality meal.
Secret Santa- We offer assistance to the parents of children that are less fortunate by supplying 2-3 toys a piece to each child in a household that are in kindergarten to 5th grade. We give gift cards to each child in grades 6th -8th whose parents sign up in advance to receive help from our Secret Santa Program.
We invite all companies, organizations, schools, business owners, churches and community members to join in with us to provide a great opportunity to see the smiles among the children's faces as they are blessed to be able to have a few gifts to open on Christmas day! If you would like to become a sponsor or to request help for our Secret Santa program please go to our donations and applications tab to submit your information!
Community Service- We offer volunteer opportunities and hours for all school aged students needing community service credits, probation and parole and dss/work first participants.
